Matt Robinson

With a family cottage located in northern Michigan, Matthew grew up fishing the Jordan River Valley, as well as the surrounding streams and inland lakes during his childhood. After joining the Boyne Outfitters crew, Matthew made the full-time move to northern Michigan. Along with his solid base, he has traveled all over Michigan fishing for trout, salmon and steelhead. However, his favorite quarry is chasing brown trout, and he has devoted the majority of his free time to researching and learning more about these wonderful creatures.

When Matthew isn't on the river, you may find him tying flies, kayaking the Jordan, or fly fishing warm water lakes for bass and pike. He has continually devoted his free time to expand his knowledge of fly fishing to ensure great times out on the water for his guests. Matthew always looks forward to the next season and what it brings to Boyne Outfitters.
